About Balmoral Photography
Balmoral Photography is born from the mutual passion and interests of the principle photographers; Adam Brand and Flavio Spedalieri.
Through strong passion for photography and a very strong friendship, the inspiration which both Adam and Flavio have found through their photography, meeting incredible people, and a thirst for high-quality fine-art image capture, has brought them together to continue the journey.

Meet The Team
The year 2008, sees Adam enter the Canon Australian Professional
Photography Awards (APPA) for the first time, winning a Silver
award in the Landscape Non-Composite category. It also marks
his debut entry in the EPSON NSW AIPP Professional Photography
State awards, winning a Silver with Distinction and also a Silver
award for two of his Landscape photos.
Adam is primarily a Landscape and Portrait photographer, having acquired a newfound interest in digital photography a few years ago while shooting with a simple 'point-n-shoot' camera at a birthday party.
This interest soon progressed to the purchase of more serious photographic equipment and a timely chance to meet and learn from Ken Duncan, Leo Meier and David Oliver on one of Ken's Northern Exposure adventures in 2006, a truly inspirational experience.
Adam's hobby soon transformed into a passion to photographically capture the colours, beauty, emotions and sometimes harshness of our environment, on display to us each and every day.
The chase for 'wild light' - that special time in the day, early in the morning or late afternoon, when the light transitions and displays amazing tones and dramatic scenes during sunrise and sunset is one aspect Adam loves to capture. It is at these times when the serenity of the environment around you, beautiful vistas and the softness of rich warm light come together turning an image into a beautiful work of art.
Above all, photography for Adam is about fun, adventure, passion and quality.

Flavio has developed a strong passion for professional fine
art photography, creating awe-inspiring landscape images
which lead you on a journey through the wonders our world has to
offer.
Flavio's Images have been recognised by the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) having been awarded a Silver Award - Landscape from NSW AIPP (State Awards) in 2007.
In May 2007, Flavio was awarded a Sliver Award - Landscape non-composite in the Canon Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA).
In June 2008, sees Flavio being awarded a Silver Distinction - Science Environment & Nature in the Canon Austraian Professional Photography Awards.
June 2009, sees Flavio being awarded a Silver Distinction - Science Environment & Nature in the Canon Austraian Professional Photography Awards.
From a young age, Flavio has carried a very strong interest in electronics, later specialising in photonics and Laser systems.
With over 18 years experience in laser and night vision technologies, and over 14 years experience in Information Technology including systems administration, network support and field support, Flavio brings with him a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience to the technical aspects and understanding of the photographic processes.
Flavio has a Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering, and currently undertaking a Certificate IV in Training and Assesment (TAA04).
Much of Flavio's technical experience also flows into his photographs through interests in scientific photography and astrophotography.
Among a number of strong passions, Flavio has also developed skill in the art of espresso coffee and latte art, with a future goal to own a dedicated gallery / cafe to display our works.
Flavio is also the director of NightLase Technologies, specialising in IT services and support, laser graphics display and education / tutorials.
